Obverse translation : “Hadrianus Augustus Consul tertium Pater Patriæ”, (Hadrien auguste consul pour la troisième fois père de la patrie).

Reverse legend : EXERC DACICVS/ S C À L’EXERGUE.
Reverse description : Hadrien à cheval à droite, haranguant trois soldats dont le premier porte une aigle légionnaire surmontant un vexillum et les deux suivants une enseigne.
Reverse translation : “Exercitus Dacicus”, (L’armée de Dacie).
Commentary
C’est la troisième fois que nous présentons ce type de sesterce à la vente qui semble de la plus grande rareté. Ce type, bien que recensé dans le Cayon, n’est même pas en photo !.
