Reverse description : Pietas (la Piété) voilée et drapée, debout à gauche, levant la main droite.

Commentary

Rubans de type 3. Légendes au datif de dédicace comme pour le monnayage de Trajan. Portrait tout à fait exceptionnel pour ce type de monnayage. L’une des rares émissions à donner la filiation complète d’Hadrien avec Nerva comme grand-père adoptif. C’est encore une fois, en début de règne, une émission dynastique.

One of the rare issues to give the complete filiation of Hadrian with Nerva as adoptive grandfather. It is once again, at the beginning of the reign, a dynastic issue.
