Reverse description : Annona, (l’Annone) ou Abundantia (l’Abondance) assise à gauche, tenant une serpette de la main droite et une corne d’abondance de la main gauche ; à ses pieds, un modius rempli d’épis.

Reverse translation : “Consul tertium”, (Consul pour la troisième fois).

C’est grâce au globule de l’exergue que pour la première fois a été posé le principe d’émissions et d’officines constituant la base de la théorie des cycles mise en application par l’école anglaise. Cette marque particulière ne se rencontre que pour l’émission de 128 (15e) pour les cinq officines de l’atelier de Rome. Chaque officine travaille avec un type de revers, mais dans les trois métaux si nécessaire : or, argent et bronze/cuivre.
