Exemplaire provenant d’une ancienne collection française de la première moitié du XXe siècle, dispersée à Marseille le 6 décembre 2017. Avec son étiquette d’origine mais qui ne correspond pas à un sesterce mais à un denier..

Obverse description : Buste lauré d’Hadrien à droite, drapé sur l’épaule gauche (O*2).

Obverse translation : “Imperator Cæsar Traianus Hadrianus Augustus”, (L’empereur césar Trajan Hadrien auguste).

Reverse legend : LIBERALITAS AVG III// SC.

Reverse description : Scène de distribution ; Hadrien assis à gauche sur une chaise curule, placée sur une estrade, accompagné d’un préfet ( de la Ville ou du Prétoire) et de la Libéralité debout à gauche, tenant un abaque ; devant, un citoyen montant sur l’estrade et tendant sa toge pour recevoir la munificence.

Reverse translation : “Liberalitas Augusti tertium”, (La troisième Libéralité de l’auguste).
