Cette monnaie est à l’effigie du roi Constantin II qui est en fait en exil depuis l’échec de son contre-coup d’État du 13 décembre 1967. Le régime des “Colonels” dirigent le pays depuis le 21 avril 1967. Ces derniers proclameront finalement la république en 1973..
