Patine grise hétérogène. Faiblesses de frappe et usure sur les reliefs centraux. Trou percé à 12 heures (comme c’était le cas pour les frappes originales)

Au vue du diamètre et d’après quelques recherches, notamment dans l’ouvrage de Christopher Eimer, il s’agit probablement d’une refrappe.

Georges II (10/11/1683-25/10/1760) is the son of Georges I (1714-1727) and Sophie-Dorothée of Brunswick. He succeeded his father in 1726 and was also Duke of Brunswick and Lüneburg. He left Walpole to govern until 1742. He was the first Hanoverian king to take an interest in England.
