Reverse legend : GOD SAVE THE KING - GOD SAVE THE QUEEN / 26TH JUNE 1902.
Reverse description : Femme drapée à l’antique sonnant le clairon, tenant l’écu d’Angleterre de sa main gauche. Palais de Westminster au bord de la Tamise en arrière-plan.

Cette médaille fut émise à l’occasion du couronnement d’Edouard VII et elle est conservée dans une boîte blanche timbré d’une inscription dorée : BY HER MAJESTY’S SPECIAL WARRANT / MAPPIN BROTHERS. / DIAMOND MERCHATS 1 ART JEWELLERS / 220,REGENT STREET. W. / & 66, CHEAPSIDE. E. C. / LONDON.

GREAT-BRITAIN - EDWARD VII

(22/01/1901-7/05/1910)

Edward VII (9/11/1841-7/05/1910) is the eldest son of Victoria and Albert of Saxe-Coburg. He succeeded his mother in 1901. Married to Alexandra of Denmark (1844-1925), he had four children, including Georges V. He created the Entente Cordiale with France in 1904.
