Commentary
La médaille a été gravée à partir du monnaie polie. Il s’agit d’un mariage dans la prison de Fleet (nom dérivé de la rivière) qui fut construite en 1197 et restaurée plusieurs fois depuis. Elle est restée en service jusqu’en 1844 et ne fut démolie qu’en 1846.

George III (1738-1820) succeeded his grandfather in 1760 and reigned for sixty years. On this type of coinage, George is King of England, France and Ireland and Duke of Brunswick Lüneburg, without forgetting..... Defender of the Faith.
