Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré avec une usure régulière, parfaitement lisible des deux côtés. Beaux portraits de style romain. Joli revers énigmatique. Patine vert olive foncé épaisse, légèrement granuleuse

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
