Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Portraits à l’usure importante. Joli revers bien venu à la frappe. Patine vert noir granuleuse

Obverse description : Bustes affrontés de Gordien III lauré, drapé et cuirassé à droite vu de trois quarts en arrière et de Tranquilline diadémée et drapée à gauche vu de trois quarts en avant.

Obverse translation : (L'empereur césar Marc Antoine Gordien auguste et l'augusta Tranquilline).

Reverse description : Tyche (Fortuna) la Fortune, coiffée du kalathos, drapée debout à gauche, tenant un gouvernail de la main droite et une corne d’abondance de la main gauche.

Commentary

Trou de centrage de chaque côté. Plusieurs lettres ligaturées au droit et au revers, la légende se termine dans le champ, faute de place. Mêmes coins que l’exemplaire reproduit dans l’ouvrage de Varbonov (p. 196, n° 2063).
