Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis complets. Usure régulière avec une faiblesse au revers. Patine grise

Obverse description : Buste lauré, drapé et cuirassé de Gordien à droite, vu de trois quarts en arrière (A2).

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
