Reverse description : Securitas (la Sécurité) debout de face tournée à gauche, les jambes croisées, tenant de la main droite un long sceptre vertical, le bras gauche appuyé sur une colonne.
Reverse translation : "Securitas Perpetua" (La Sécurité Perpétuelle).
Commentary
Rubans de type 3. Ptéryges fines sous le paludamentum. Ce type semble beaucoup plus rare avec la titulature longue au revers.

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
