Coments on the condition:
Exemplaire sur flan large et épais, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Très beau portrait de Gordien III. Joli revers de style fin, de frappe un peu molle. Très belle patine vert foncé

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
