Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré. Frappe molle au droit. Revers de haut relief, bien venu à la frappe. Patine de collection ancienne

Commentary
Dans la base TSP maintenue par Michel Prieur, quatorze exemplaires sont maintenant répertoriés. Seuls trois musées ont un exemplaire, Munich, Banque du Liban et l’Israel State Museum (3 exemplaires provenant de la trouvaille de Mampsis). Comme sur l’exemplaire BPV_153676, la frappe au droit est très molle.

Caesar
Born on May 26, 189, Geta became Caesar in 198 and received the title of pontifex the following year. He accompanies his father and his brother to Brittany from 208 and is raised to Augustat the following year. When Septimius Severus died in York on February 4, 211, the two brothers brought their father's ashes back to Rome and became co-emperors. But they hate each other. Finally, after a year of joint rule, Caracalla kills his brother in their mother's arms. Geta is dedicated to "damnatio memoriæ" (damnation of memory). His supporters are systematically massacred.
