Commentary

This type of bronze does not appear to correspond to any other Gallic coin. The flan corresponds to the heavy bronzes ATISIOS REMOS, of the Remi, or VIROS with the horseman of the Viromanduans, but the style and epigraphy are clearly distinct. This coin appears to be unique!
