Exemplaire frappé sur un flan ovale. Faiblesses au droit. Patine marron aux reflets métalliques

Obverse description : Tête radiée de Gallien à droite (O).
Obverse translation : “Gallienus Augustus”, (Gallien auguste).

Reverse legend : APOLLINI CONS AVG// Z.
Reverse description : Centaure (Sagittaire) passant à droite, tenant un arc des deux mains, levant l’antérieur gauche.
Reverse translation : “Apollini Conservatori Augusti”, (À Apollon le protecteur de l’auguste).
Commentary
Poids lourd. Rubans de type 1 aux extrémités bouletées. Émission dite du "bestiaire". Type complètement inédit avec ce buste qui n’est pas connu pour ce revers. De plus, sur l’ensemble du monnayage du bestiaire, c’est la première fois qu’il est question d’un buste “A2” associé à des rubans de type 1 ! Tous les exemplaires connus, peu importe le revers, ont des rubans de type 3.
