Si plusieurs exemplaires de ces "deniers" sont arrivés sur le marché depuis moins d'une dizaine d'années, il semble qu'aucune étude n'ait été réalisée sur ce monnayage. Seul le Nouvel Atlas le reprend, dans la série de fractions en argent des peuples centraux ; c’est le type III “à la cavalière”.
