Statère avec des types bien centrés mais de frappe un peu molle sur un flan de teinte très claire. Une rayure est à signaler sur l’arrière du cheval

Obverse description : Tête à droite, triple diadème remplis de chevrons, l'œil surmonté d'un sourcil et d'une esse.

Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Reverse description : Cheval à droite, la tête retournée ; rameau au-dessus avec deux esses entourant le rameau et la tête du cheval ; rosace perlée et pointée sous le cheval et croix pointé et centrée devant son poitrail.

Commentary

Ce type est rare et passe habituellement assez peu sur le marché. Avec ceux de la collection dispersée dans MONNAIES XV, nous n’avions jusqu’alors proposé que cinq monnaies de ce type. La cassure de coin sur la crinière du cheval est assez caractéristique.
This type is rare and usually comes to market relatively little. With those from the collection dispersed in COINS XV, we had previously only offered five coins of this type. The die break on the horse's mane is quite characteristic.
