“La Monnaie de Paris a choisi de contribuer à la « Journée mondiale contre le SIDA » en frappant une pièce de 2 Euro commémorative à l’effigie de cet événement. Cette journée a lieu chaque année le 1er décembre, sous l’égide de l’UNESCO”.
Cette 2 Euro a également été émise en coincard Brillant Universel et coffret Belle Épreuve en version colorisée (le ruban rouge symbole de la lutte conte le sida).
