Commentary
La loge est constituée en 1872 par des expatriés refusant la conquête Allemande. Elle se caractérisait par son recrutement prestigieux et son orientation patriotique. Elle se composait principalement d'hommes politiques d'ingénieurs, d'intellectuels et d'artistes. Marc Labouret dira même que cette loge soutiendra une active propagande en faveur du projet d’éducation laïque. Parmi les membres célèbres de cette loge, on compte Jules Ferry, initié le 8 juillet 1875. Cette loge fusionne avec la Science et Travail en 1921 et devient la Persévérance. Exemplaire ni répertorié ni photographié dans le Labouret. Manque au Labouret !.
The lodge was formed in 1872 by expatriates who rejected the German conquest. It was characterized by its prestigious recruitment and its patriotic orientation. It was composed mainly of politicians, engineers, intellectuals, and artists. Marc Labouret even said that this lodge would support active propaganda in favor of the secular education project. Among the famous members of this lodge was Jules Ferry, initiated on July 8, 1875. This lodge merged with Science and Work in 1921 and became Perseverance.
