Commentary
En août 1667, Louis XIV est vainqueur à Lille. Il ne change rien aux privilèges de la ville et les Etats font aussitôt graver leurs armes au revers de l'effigie du souverain. Buste très intéressant.
In August 1667, Louis XIV was victorious at Lille. He made no changes to the city's privileges, and the States immediately had their coats of arms engraved on the back of the sovereign's effigy. A very interesting bust.
