Commentary

Nous avons malheureusement très peu d’information sur ce flan ; nous ne connaissons pas spécifiquement la nature du métal, mais il réagit au test de l’aimant ; il s’agirait donc très probablement de nickel.
La présence du poinçon “Corne Double” indiquerait une fabrication à partir de 1994, première année pour laquelle ce poinçon a été constaté. Ce flan serait donc destiné pour une médaille ou un jeton, dans un “métal commun”.
Unfortunately, we have very little information about this flan; we do not know specifically the nature of the metal, but it reacts to the magnet test; it would therefore most likely be nickel. The presence of the “Double Horn” hallmark would indicate manufacture from 1994, the first year for which this hallmark was noted. This flan would therefore be intended for a medal or token, in a “common metal”
