Pièce bi-métallique commémorant l’ancienne province de Satakunta. En 2010 la Rahapaja, l’institut monétaire finlandais a repris la frappe des pièces de 5 Euro. Une nouvelle série de 9 pièces de 5 Euro s’étendant sur plusieurs années a été lancée en 2010. Cette série est dédiée aux neuf provinces historiques de la Finlande datant de l’époque où la Finlande faisait partie de la Suède. Les deux premières pièces de 5 Euro émises en 2010 sont celles des provinces Satakunta et de la Finlande du Sud-Ouest.
Les sept prochaines émissions concerneront les provinces suivantes: Åland, Häme, Karelia, Lapland, Ostrobothnia, Savonia, Uusimaa.

Bimetallic coin commemorating the former province of Satakunta. In 2010, the Finnish Mint resumed minting 5 euro coins. A new series of nine 5 euro coins spanning several years was launched in 2010. This series is dedicated to the nine historical provinces of Finland dating back to the time when Finland was part of Sweden. The first two 5 euro coins issued in 2010 were for the provinces of Satakunta and Southwest Finland. The next seven issues will concern the following provinces: Åland, Häme, Karelia, Lapland, Ostrobothnia, Savonia, and Uusimaa.
