Pièce bi-métallique commémorant l’ancienne province de “Karelia”.
En 2010 la Rahapaja, l’institut monétaire finlandais a repris la frappe des pièces de 5 Euro. Une nouvelle série de 9 pièces de 5 Euro s’étendant sur plusieurs années a été lancée en 2010. Cette série est dédiée aux neuf provinces historiques de la Finlande datant de l’époque où la Finlande faisait partie de la Suède:
