Pièce bi-métallique commémorant l’ancienne province de Åland. Celle-ci est en fait un archipel de plus de 6700 îles et îlots.
En 2010 la Rahapaja, l’institut monétaire finlandais a repris la frappe des pièces de 5 Euro. Une nouvelle série de 9 pièces de 5 Euro s’étendant sur plusieurs années a été lancée en 2010. Cette série est dédiée aux neuf provinces historiques de la Finlande datant de l’époque où la Finlande faisait partie de la Suède:
- Satakunta (2010)
- Finlande du Sud-Ouest ((2010)
- Tavastia (2011)
- Savonia (2011)
- Uusimaa (2011)
- Karelia (2011)
- Ostrobothnia (2011)

A bimetallic coin commemorating the former province of Åland. This is actually an archipelago of over 6,700 islands and islets. In 2010, Rahapaja, the Finnish Monetary Institute, took over the minting of 5 Euro coins. A new series of 9 5 Euro coins spanning several years was launched in 2010.
