Faustine mourut en 141. Antonin la fit déifier. Un monnayage très important fut alors frappé jusqu'à la fin du règne de l'empereur. La piété de la défunte, une des qualités essentielles pour Antonin (d'où son surnom), est exaltée au revers de cette monnaie.
