Très bel exemplaire idéalement centré qui a conservé une partie de son coupant d’origine. Superbe buste. Patine grise


Obverse legend : FAVSTINA - AVGVSTA.
Obverse description : Buste drapé de Faustine jeune à droite avec un petit chignon ramené derrière la tête, vu de trois quarts en avant (L).
Obverse translation : “Faustina Augusta”, (Faustine augusta).


Reverse legend : SAECVLI FELICIT.
Reverse description : Trône sur lequel sont placés deux bébés (Commode et Antonin).
Reverse translation : “Sæculi Felicitas”, (La Félicité du siècle).


Il existe pour ce denier au moins deux variétés avec le buste de Faustine diadémé ou pas. Revers historiquement important commémorant la naissance de jumeaux dont Commode.
