Exemplaire sur un petit flan bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles, légèrement éclaté à 7 heures au droit. Très beau portrait juvénile de Faustine Jeune. Revers finement détaillé. Patine de collection. Conserve une partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Même coin de droit que l’exemplaire reproduit dans l’ouvrage de Calico (p. 305, n° 2092). Mêmes coins que l’exemplaire de MONNAIES 50, n° 19 qui s’est vendu 4803€ sur une offre maximum de 6150€ avec cinq offres et que l’exemplaire de NAC 34, n° 170.

Augusta

Young Faustina, the daughter of Antoninus and Faustina Mother, was born between 128 and 132. She married Marc Aurèle in 145 and received the title of augusta in 146. She had thirteen children, seven of whom survived childhood. A very important coinage is struck until his death in 175 in Halala at the foot of Mount Taurus in Cappadocia.
