Magnifique monnaie sur un flan légèrement irrégulier, bien centré des deux côtés. Superbe buste. Revers finement détaillé. La monnaie a conservé une grande partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine. Patine grise

Augusta

Young Faustina, the daughter of Antoninus and Faustina Mother, was born between 128 and 132. She married Marc Aurèle in 145 and received the title of augusta in 146. She had thirteen children, seven of whom survived childhood. A very important coinage is struck until his death in 175 in Halala at the foot of Mount Taurus in Cappadocia.
