Ce jeton présente trois fleurs de chardon au revers dans les armoiries, ce qui indique que ce jeton est un original. En effet, une autre version de ce jeton fut exécutée par la famille en 1824. Cette refrappe se caractérise par le remplacement - suite à une erreur du graveur - des chardons par des coquilles. Il faut noter que c'est seulement cette version que Fournié a pu illustrer sur ses planches et que l’original n’est pas illustré.
