Commentary


Du 21 au 30 juin 1913, Paris organise, au Palais de Glace sur les Champs-Élysées, une exposition philatélique de haut niveau inaugurée par le président Raymond Poincaré. Les visiteurs peuvent admirer des pièces rares telles que des vermillons français et des têtes bêches. On dénombre deux cent cinq exposants répartis dans vingt pays. En raison du conflit mondial, l’exposition suivante n’a eu lieu qu’en 1921 à Mulhouse.
From June 21 to 30, 1913, Paris held a high-level philatelic exhibition at the Palais de Glace on the Champs-Élysées, inaugurated by President Raymond Poincaré. Visitors could admire rare coins such as French vermilion coins and têtes bêches. There were 205 exhibitors from 20 countries. Due to the World War, the next exhibition was not held until 1921 in Mulhouse.
