Reverse description : Washington à cheval, donnant des ordres à ses aides de camp rangés autour de lui, au loin, la ville de Boston devant laquelle on aperçoit une flotte.

Reverse translation : Après avoir mis les ennemis en fuite // il reprend Boston le 17 mars 1776.

Cet exemplaire semble être en céramique.
On retrouve cette médaille dans la série “Comitia Americana”. Celle-ci commémore les moments pivots de la guerre américaine. Elle fut créé entre 1776 et le début du 19e siècle par des artistes et artisans français. Le terme latin “comitia” dénote que ces médailles furent créées après le vote du “Continental Congressional” afin de commémorer l’héroïsme, l’amitié et le “leadership”.
