Cette médaille est fabriquée en PROOF et présentée dans son étui d’origine avec le carton de présentation et deux timbres oblitérés de la Russie et des Etats-Unis.
Apollo-Soyuz Space Mission a été en 1975 la première mission spatiale conjointe entre l'Union soviétique et les États-Unis après qu'ils se furent affrontés pendant la guerre froide dans la course à l'espace.
