Cet exemplaire est dans son écrin imprimé de la francisque.
Pierre Turin n'a pas participé aux travaux de recherche et de fabrication sur les pièces à l'effigie du Maréchal Pétain mais a réalisé sa plus célèbre médaille qui, dans cette déclinaison de format est plus un jeton.

1941 marks a turning point in the war. This is the peak of the collaboration before the replacement of Laval by Darlan. Hitler invades the USSR. The communists, previously pacifists and supporters of sabotage against "capitalist war", go underground. The Americans enter the war in December after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The Resistance begins to grow.
