1941 marks a turning point in the war. This is the peak of the collaboration before the replacement of Laval by Darlan. Hitler invades the USSR. The communists, previously pacifists and supporters of sabotage against "capitalist war", go underground. The Americans enter the war in December after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The Resistance begins to grow.
