C’est la première fois que nous proposons cet essai de frappe à la vente ; il semble inédit. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas d’information à son sujet : il s’agit de l’avers GEM 196/6 mais le revers n’est pas référencé dans l’ouvrage “Essais Monétaires & Piéforts Français”.
Les initiales HME pourraient éventuellement correspondre à l’acronyme de Hitachi Metals Europe, mais cela reste à vérifier...
This is the first time we have offered this test strike for sale; it appears to be unique. Unfortunately, we have no information about it: it is the obverse GEM 196/6, but the reverse is not referenced in the book “Essais Monétaires & Piéforts Français”. The initials HME could possibly correspond to the acronym for Hitachi Metals Europe, but this remains to be verified.
