Commentary
Il s'agit d'une pièce bimétallique avec le centre en argent. Cet essai est réalisé par l’administration des Monnaies à la demande du ministre des Finances Gaudin dans le but de créer une nouvelle monnaie de 10 centimes qui doit remplacer tous les sous royaux et révolutionnaires et les décimes en circulation. Il faut attendre la loi des finances du 15 septembre 1807 pour voir la création de la pièce de 10 centimes à l’N couronnée.
