Reverse description : Écu couronné à sept quartiers parti et écartelé : au 1 de Castille, au 2 de Léon, au 3 d'Aragon, au 4 de Navarre, au 5 de Grenade au 6 des Indes et sur le tout aigle de Joseph, accosté de 20 - R..
Reverse translation : (roi des Espagnols et des Indes).


Les pièces de 20 reales furent frappées entre 1808 et 1813. Près de 2,5 millions de pièces furent fabriquées. 20 reales de vellon correspondent à 8 reales de plata. Pour le revers, il existe deux variétés : avec une grande aigle héraldique en cœur entre 1808 et 1811 et avec une petite aigle de 1811 à 1813.
