Cette pièce est frappé sur un flan large et régulier. Légère usure au niveau du buste. Exemplaire présentant de hauts reliefs au revers et ayant conservé l’essentiel de son brillant de frappe au revers. Petite rayure entre le l’E et l’L de FELIX

SPAIN - KINGDOM OF SPAIN - CHARLES III

(1759-14/12/17/1788)

Charles III (20/01/1716-14/12/1788) is the eldest son of the second marriage of Philip V, one with Elizabeth Farnese. He was successively Duke of Parma (1731-1735) and King of Naples (1735-1759) and succeeded his half-brother Ferdinand VI as king of Spain in 1759. He married Maria Amalia of Saxony in 1738, who bore him six children. His son Charles IV succeeded him in 1788 as King of Spain and his other son Ferdinand IV as King of Naples and the Two Sicilies (1759-1825).
