Obverse legend : BODAS - DE ORO / 1904 - 1954 / AJA DE - PENSION.

Obverse description : Ces inscriptions sont de part et d’autre d’un écusson surmonté d’une couronne. Au-dessous, un couple âgé avec au centre de jeunes enfants dont le plus jeune est dans les bras de la femme. Derrière elle la signature : MARES.

Reverse

Reverse legend : CAJA DE PENSIONES / PARA LA VEJEZ Y DE AHORROS.

Reverse description : Sous le même écusson élargi surmonté d’une couronne un peu différente, quatre autres écussons disposés autour d’un motif globulaire central sur un fond de fleurs et de feuillages.

Cette médaille, émise par la Caja de Pensiones espagnole, a été frappée à l’occasion de son 50ème anniversaire et offerte à tous les pensionnaires qui cette même année fêtaient leurs noces d’or de mariage poursuivant ainsi la tradition de l’émission d’une médaille identique en argent 25 ans plus tôt pour las Bodas de Plata..
This medal, issued by the Spanish Caja de Pensiones, was struck on the occasion of its 50th anniversary and presented to all the pensioners who celebrated their golden wedding anniversary that same year, thus continuing the tradition of issuing an identical silver medal 25 years earlier for Las Bodas de Plata.
