Commentary
Ferdinand VII (1784-1808), après avoir été le roi éphémère de 1808, fut relégué en France à Valencay jusqu'en 1813. Rentré en Espagne en 1814, il abolit la Constitution mais fut obligé de la rétablir en 1820, après la révolte de Cadix. C'est dans ce cadre que ces monnaies pour les Iles Baléares furent frappées. 30 sous correspondent à un duro de 5 pesetas.

Returned to Spain in 1814, he abolished the Constitution but was obliged to restore it in 1820, after the revolt from Cadiz.
