Très bel exemplaire, sur un flan un tout petit peu court, mais régulier avec une frappe centrée et une agréable patine irisée. De petites rayures dans les champs du droit et du revers

Reverse description : Croix chrismée dans un grènetis ; un gros annelet centrée à six heures et légende autour.

Commentary

Seulement trois types de triens sont recensés pour cet atelier d’Espagnac, chacun au nom d’un monétaire différent ; GONDOLENVS, NANTOALDVS et FREDEVNDVS. L’attribution à Espagnac a été proposée par Deloche, confirmée par A. de Barthelemy et Prou.
