Pyrrhus (318-272 BC;) nephew of Alexander the Great was a great soldier and a multifaceted adventurer. Alternately, king of Epirus, of Macedonia, he finally found death fighting against Antigone Gonatas, the son of Demetrius Poliorcetes, brother-in-law of Pyrrhus.
