Obverse description : Tête d'Apollon Grynion laurée et diadémée à droite, les cheveux longs tombant sur le cou.


Reverse description : Apollon marchant à droite, tenant de la main droite un phiale, sacrifiant, et de la gauche une branche de laurier à laquelle sont suspendues deux bandelettes ; à ses pieds à droite, l'omphalos et une amphore ; dans le champ à gauche, monogramme ; le tout dans une couronne de laurier.

(Second century BC)

Myrhina, located northeast of Cumae, overshadowed by its powerful neighbor appears as the Hellenistic period. Coinage begin around 300 BC The city was famous for the worship of Apollo Grynion. But the symbol of the city seems to have been the amphora which is situated at the foot of Apollo.
