AIOLIS - GRYNION

(4th century BC)

Grynion, a coastal city, located 40 stadia from Myrhina, with a very ancient foundation, was famous for its marble temple of Apollo. The city was destroyed at the end of the 4th century BC by Parmenion in 306.
