Commentary

Les Docks du Centre sont créé par messieurs Toulouse et Picard à Tours en 1904. Les magasins prennent rapidement le nom de DOC avec un logo en losange qu’on retrouve dans les enseignes et sur ces jetons prime. En 1957, face au développement, les Docks du Centre sont rebaptisés Docks de France et connaissent un développement national et international jusqu’à leur rachat par Auchan en 1996.
The Docks du Centre were created by Messrs. Toulouse and Picard in Tours in 1904. The stores quickly took the name DOC with a diamond logo that can be found in the signs and on these bonus tokens. In 1957, in the face of development, the Docks du Centre were renamed Docks de France and experienced national and international development until their acquisition by Auchan in 1996.
