This small kingdom, located between Babylonia and Persis in the region of Susa. He managed to maintain his independence from his powerful Arsacid neighbors. Orodes II is the son of Orodes I and the brother of Phraates, whom he succeeds. Orodes III (Kamnaskires) his son succeeds him.
