L’ancre placée derrière le buste du roi n’est pas sans rappeler celle qui orne les monnaies séleucides, moyen de signaler l’ancienneté et la filiation des monarques du royaume d’Élymaïde.

ELYMAIS - ELYMAIS KINGDOM - KAMNASKIRES VI
(1st - 2nd century AD)
This small kingdom, located between Babylonia and Persis in the region of Susa. He managed to maintain his independence from his powerful Arsacid neighbors.
