Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale et très irrégulier. Très beau portrait d’Élagabal. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Reverse description : Pax (la Paix) marchant à gauche, le manteau flottant au vent, tenant de la main droite un rameau d'olivier et de la gauche un sceptre long.
Reverse translation : “Pax Augusti”, (La Paix de l’auguste).

Elagabalus was proclaimed emperor on May 16 218, only august until late June or early July, leaving Syria to reach Rome. Elagabalus stops at Nicomedia, he spent the winter and it gets sick.
