Exemplaire sur un flan ovale et irrégulier bien centré, mais court sur la légende de revers. Belle tête de Ptolémée légèrement stylisée. Revers bien venu à la frappe. Jolie patine de collection ancienne

Ptolemy X is the younger son of Ptolemy VIII Euergetes (145-116 BC) and Cleopatra III. It was first governor of Cyprus in 113 BC In 106 BC, he overthrew his brother Ptolemy IX Soter (116-106 and 88-80 BC) who took his Place in Cyprus. He reigned with his mother until her death. Finally, after a reign of eighteen years, he was driven by the Alexandrians and murdered at sea His brother then took possession of his throne for the last eight years of his life.
